Embark On Cultural Excursions

All students have the opportunity to participate in cultural and historical trips to Washington DC and Cuba! Students visit important landmarks, historic museums, farms, and local schools, where they learn about economy, history, culture, and nutrition.

Students visit various colleges and universities during a multiple day trip to learn what to consider when selecting a school from size, major and minor programs, clubs, location, and campus life. Students take part in workshops that expose them to various application processes like obtaining references and applying for financial aid.

We partner with local community non-profits like zoos, animal shelters, senior citizen homes, and conservation organizations. Students learn about and participate in activities that positively impact their community such as fundraising, volunteering, donating, and creating or coordinating service programs.

All students have the opportunity to visit our Farm and Ranch FREE of cost. Students attend multiple day camps where they seed, plant, feed, and harvest crops, tend to ranch animals, learn to make cheese, bread, and fruit preserves, ride or hike surrounding trails, and test their limits on the zip line and high ropes courses!

OFL offers activities and field trips that introduce valuable life opportunities to our students, including college tours, prom, sports games, open houses, and community service opportunities, all entirely free of charge to our students.

OFL’s Student Advisers are here to offer support and guidance to our students to help them stay on a career track. Every student meets with a Student Advisor and gets in depth post-secondary counseling.

OFL’s wide array of clubs allows students to pursue their interests and discover new lanes of expression, friendship, and knowledge.

OFL’s flexible schedule allows students to complete their work at their own pace, learning how to juggle multiple responsibilities such as schoolwork, employment, taking care of one’s family, and travel obligations.

OFL offers free one-on-one math tutoring at every center and CAHSEE Prep to help our students graduate on time.

Dancing with your special someone at prom, cheering on your school’s team, and graduating with your friends are just a few of the memories that an OFL alum will carry forever.
