Opportunities for Learning serves students grades 7-12 that have not found success in a traditional school setting. We are WASC accredited and fully prepare students to enroll in college. OFL’s open enrollment means students can enroll any workday of the year (we are open year-round), and students can enroll up to age 19. We pride ourselves on our blended learning environment, combining guided independent studies with Small Group Instruction classes.
OFL’s goal is to help students receive more than just a diploma; we are dedicated to setting students on the right track toward any career they aspire to. Whether that be college, vocational or technical school, the military, or immediately entering the workforce, our highly qualified teachers work closely with our students to help them find their inspiration. We offer college tours, leadership retreats to a ranch in Colorado, trips to an organic farm in northern California that teaches sustainable living, and Washington DC experiential learning trips, all at no cost to the students. We also offer sports teams, dances, clubs, and other extracurricular activities offered by traditional public schools.
